KMK Productions presents the first annual 'Heartbeat Gala' |

In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, KMK Productions will host the first annual “Heartbeat Gala” on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
The event is an effort to raise awareness about heart disease and increase support of the American Heart Association.
KMK Productions CEO Kim Wimbish describes the event as an opportunity to “enlighten and bring people together.”
This black tie event requires red gowns for women and tuxedos for men.

Early bird prices are available until December 31. Regular admission is $35 and VIP tickets cost $75.
Starting January 1 through February 6, regular admission will be $50 and VIP $100.
Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.
Dominique The Diva from 103 Jamz will host the “Heartbeat Gala.” A live band, The Fuzz Band, will be available at the beginning of the event and DJ Diana will provide music throughout the night.
Notable speakers include 11-year-old heart ambassador Gabrielle “Bri” Pinkney and 2012 Olympic Bronze Medalist Kellie Wells. Additional speakers include: Michelle Bazemore, Tasha Turnbull, Monique Brown and Pastor Orna Dixon.
Special invited guests include Dr. Allan Stewart, a cardiac surgeon, and Shamarko Thomas of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Free cash prizes, gift certificates and spa giveaways will be awarded at the event.
Vendors will be available at the “Heartbeat Gala” as well as business networking opportunities.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
